Electronic Oasis Overview:
The Electronic Oasis is the educational technology component of the EgypTesol Convention. It resembles the Electronic Village at the International TESOL convention. EgypTesol 's first Electronic Oasis took place in the convention of 1999.
The Electronic Oasis (EO) will take place during the EgypTesol Convention
November 21-22, 2008. It is going to be an excellent chance for all teachers
to get together and to demonstrate/share with other colleagues some of
their CALL practices and experiences.
The EO has been structured this year to provide TEFL educators with hands-on training through workshops on using technology to enhance their performance at the workplace. In addition, presentations and demos will be presented.
The demos and workshops are going to be held concurrent with the conference’s sessions and workshops. EO is going to be held in two Rooms (Nefretiti 4 and Nefretiti 5) at the Giza Sheraton Hotel.
